It is 1:21am on day 5 of The Big Wait and still no baby. I have a scheduled mid-wife appointment tomorrow morning and this is when we begin the conversation about induction and how long to let Little Miss determine her own birth date. Barring an extreme scenario, I believe it is best to let babies come when they are ready. That being said, I would really like to give birth while Andrew still has some time off of work. This is for both practical and emotional reasons. I am also not sleeping very well anymore (hence the 1am posting) which adds to the hormonal cocktail.
I am thanking God for a very healthy pregnancy, a full term baby, TONS of support from my peeps, and an extended gestation of what could be my last pregnancy. Let's hope all this thankfulness can carry me long enough to get this baby out of my belly!

ReplyDeleteIt was a blessed event of magnanmious porportions. ( I really understated the obvious!) It was GREAT to be standing just out side the door as we heard little Nina's first
ReplyDeleteprotests. Mom and I were sniffling as the nurses were shuffling back and forth doing things that nurses do all very matter of factually, the did not realize the breathtaking event that had just occured with the addtion to the Hurt clan!!
