I got news this week that Doug will be coming home. This has been a very long time apart, almost 9 months I think, and the whole family is desperate for some Doug. I personally, have missed him so much, but I know that Elijah has felt the absence of his uncle. He has asked several times why Uncle Doug has to live in Mexico now etc. I always wonder how much the little ones pick up on, so when I told Elijah that his Uncle was coming back next week, I was pleased to see unbridled excitement on his face. There was a long intake of breath and then a "UNCLE DOUGGGGG?!?!?"
And, of course, I have lost 60 pounds since the last time I saw Doug. And he has never met Nina.
Ack! Hurry home before anything else happens!
