Fall Fall Everywhere

The first day of fall was ushered in with slow steady rain, grey skies and vomit. The boy-o spent the day watching Planet Earth and sipping Pedialight with a straw which was actually not a bad compliment to the mood outside. I LOVE the fall. It is my twin season and feels very much like the beginning of the new year for me. The weather, the food, the sweaters; all of it perks me up in so many ways. My bucket list for this season is...

-Taking the kids on this drive through the changing leaves.
-Picking apples and giving them to grandma to make apple butter
-Baby showers for OTHER people's first babies.
-My baby's first birthday *sniff*
-Watching this entire series with my husband and leaning something new together.
-Celebrating Andrew's departure from UPS, and 5 years of getting up at 2:30am, with a feast.
-Reading something. Anything. Cover to Cover.
-The best pumpkin soup
-Eating things that my sister bakes.
-Walking the whole family to see live music for $10 (yes, for all of us)
-Using all those great Groupons I've bought this summer! Especially this one.
-Free Picasso (if I get there early enough to be one of the first 100 schmucks in line with a blue shirt)

And of course a thousand other things. Needless to say, I am thankful for another day marking the beginning of something else that I enjoy. I am filled with gratitude for this season.

Love fall (though I'm not sure Texas actually gets one, ha!).
