The wet Seattle fall is upon us, but not being made of sugar, we bravely forge ahead for our last week of FUN before Elijah goes back to school. A $2 tram ticket and a $3 slice at Whole Foods was the entirety of our expenditure today which pleases my inner bean counter to no end. If I could have achieved more connection and easy conversation with ten times that amount, I would have happily spent it. But I am finding that The Big Kids need time with me more than anything. A few boats and trains thrown in for good measure never hurt either.
What to do with those legs when your feet don't reach the ground...It has been ALONG time since I had to deal with that dilemma
If you have a Whole Foods near you, sign your kids up for their kids club. They get a free cookie, piece of fruit or a couple of other options, for free. Free cookie anyone! Elijah loved his chocolate cookie so much he renamed it Chocolate Munchker Missile. Yes, completely made up but he felt THAT inspired by the baked goods.
