Saying Good Bye

We are preparing for the immanent departure of some dear friends and we are all dealing with this in different ways. One of our favorite books inspired us to turn our grumps about losing our buddies, into an opportunity to gain a pen pal. The kids LOVE to get mail. They LOVE it. And the thought of getting letters on a regular basis was a good motivator to make a "Going Away Letter Writing Gift Set".

We started off with a portrait.
