Screen Time

I am very selective when it comes to what the kids watch and play online. Movies and video games are still a treat for all of us which makes them a big incentive to the kids and a useful tool for me. Starfall.com is a great website for phonics based games that the kids can do on their own. Clementine will often choose to play on this site in the morning after all her "business" is done. I would like to say that this has contributed to her AMAZING test scores this quarter (94th percentile in reading DISTRICT WIDE!!) but I think she is just super smart and enjoys playing on mom's computer like most kids.
