Take A Hike

Friday has been "Home Day" for Elijah this past year; a day that I try to focus on him and do Elijahcentric activities. We only have a few more days like this. Summer is coming. Busy, fun, exhausting and full of play. Fall brings full day school for both the big kids and much less time with my boy. A first for both of us. I have LOVED our family schedule this year. It seemed to have just enough of all the right elements and all parties involved thrived. Time marches on and things change, including my son spending most of his waking hours apart from me. He will be FINE. I will probably cry. More on this in the weeks to come.

"Home Day" this week involved papa and a hike through "Dinosaur" park. So named because it looks like a T-Rex could come around the corner of this old growth forest at any time.
