Little did I know, when I married a skinny boy from Texas 15 years ago, that he would turn out to be such a fine Father. His paternal instinct was hiding underneath a slightly punk-rock exterior, waiting for a chubby bald baby to bring it to life. He lays down his life everyday for his family, which is more than I could ask for.

A recreational vehicle.
The extravagant ones of the two sober looking yahoos in hats.
Parenting is full of joy and precious reward, but grand-parenting looks like just plain fun.
Particularly love the first and last photos on this post. And I can't believe how long Nina's hair is! She looks like a girl. Alathea is still often accused of being a boy.
