Again.
After a hiatus of a couple of years.
We miss our animals and the zoo is one of Andrew's favorite places to bring the kids. So in an effort to foster more daddy dates, and couching the purchases as a forth coming birthday gift, we purchased a zoo membership for the family. It will pay off in spades this summer, but there is something exceptional about the zoo in the winter. The three of us roamed unhindered by crowds, enjoying entire exhibits to ourselves. The leaves are gone and so are the encumbered views. Nina, knowing no different, wandered free and unafraid of roving bands of stroller gangs. I anticipate many happy hours spent with our friendly, and confined, wild life.
