Easter began with a sugar high this year, as it does for many families who observe the resurrection of Christ with a breakfast of marshmallow chicks and chocolate rabbits. We keep Jesus front and center of the season's celebration, but He seems to have gathered an entourage of edible animals along the way. Andrew takes great care in filling the kid's baskets with special treats. The tooth brushes were a reaction on my part to the parade of recent dentist visits but the fun stuff is from their dad. I love it that the papa of the house, who stands watch over his children as protector and defender, also takes the time to choose cards that speak to each of our unique personalities. I got a card with EGGcellent puns, which I thoroughly enjoyed.
