The kids and I went to see a movie in a REAL movie theater this week.
The multi screened extravaganza type theaters.
This was a rare treat and reminded me of how big all the hurtlings are getting. The paraphernalia and preparation required to do any outing, while being out numbered 3 to 1, certainly limited our sphere of adventure in the past few years. I think the days of diapers and strollers are in their sunset around in our home and I am looking forward to all the new experiences we get to have with our big/little kids.

Wow, I'd struggle to get my girls to sit still long enough to watch a movie in a theater. Well done, Nina especially. I'm hoping the days of diapers and strollers are soon departing for us, too--at least the diapers--but my attempts so far haven't been terribly fruitful! Somehow I also have to get rid of a thumb-sucking habit that is not doing good things to Alathea's teeth...
