The big kids tried out organized sports for the first time this spring. A little league for rugby was started and we thought, Why Not?! Violent piles of sweaty bodies, missing teeth, grass stains and wedgies?! Sounds like a typical Saturday around here. So we joined The Little Quakers rugby team. Our head coach is from South Africa and is getting a PhD is something related to children with special needs which made him qualified to herd motivate twenty 5-7 year olds. Clementine and Elijah really loved it and we are hoping to add rugby to the repatoire of Grandpa Hurt's sports over the summer.
