Making a Book

I love our library system. Love it. Our family gets TONS of use out of our local branch during the school year, but this is nothing compared to the heavy use during the summer. This week we went to a Book Making class led by recent graduates from Cornish College. The Cornish students were eager and patient, two noteworthy qualities when trying to get a group of kids to follow instructions. And the end product was really clever. We are the proud owner of three "flower" books as well as a new appreciation for the craft of book bindery.
