September in Review

An ENTIRE month has passed since my last posting and boy was it ONE BUSY MONTH!  The new school year, a new job (for me) and one very sick kid kept me sticking to the basics (clean laundry and milk in the frig). I do believe that we have finally hit our stride and it only took a few weeks longer than I expected. Fall is truly my favorite season and I am looking forward to getting out and enjoying it a bit more now that everyone is feeling top notch.

My two big kids on the first day of school! I can't get over how great they look in their uniforms.

My mouse caught a nasty bug that confined her to the couch/bed for more than a week. High fever and loss of appetite were par for the course until the final whammy arrived; THE RASH. Thankfully she is back to her normal perky self as of this week. And that no one else in the house caught her bug!

Summer lasted well into September and we had a final sunny Sunday picnic with friends at our favorite sculpture garden.

Elijah has caught the skateboarding bug bad, but Nina is giving it a college try as well. Plus, it gave her dad the excuse to buy the TINIEST knee pads ever made. So cute.
