A big part of my routine with Nina is the dropping off, and picking up, of The Big Kids from school. It book ends our day and has become part of the familiar rhythm of life. The amazing fall weather has made the 6 or so blocks to school an amiable commute. Knowing that the wet misery will be upon us soon has made me want to linger when time allows. Today was just such a day.
Nina is SUPER fast on her Skuut and I can barley keep up. But she know to wait at the end of each block for me and to use her shoes brakes to stop before the sidewalk ends.
Wasn't it nice for someone to pile up all these fun leaves for us to play in?!
We have to cross several busy streets multiple times a day. This has yet to not feel stressful for me.
Beauty on our route.
The only thing more alluring than a pile of leaves, is a mud puddle. I am have to say, I prefer the leaves.
Deep in discussion.

Great photos Sarah, I know the route so can visualize the broad picture. The Lord surrounds us with beauty and creates beauty within us. Blessings, Larry
