The Big Kids went back to school this week, leaving an entertainment void at the house. Nina and I decided to abandon our quiet abode for a morning at The Children's Museum which was not very quiet but very fun.
Nina spent the most time at The Houses, as she calls it. There are three dwellings modeled after homes in Japan, Ghana and The Philippines. Each area has a mode of travel native to each country as well as a typical store and home. Its a wonderful display and Nina practiced being a house wife from three different nationalities.

At the Sushi Shop
Kind of a blurry picture, but she was really pleased with the sushi she made her mom!
Singing and pounding seeds at the Ghanaian House
It almost felt like we had the museum to ourselves, especially at the "River" which is usually jammed pack with kids not sharing the boats.
Grocery Shopping

How cool! My girls would love that...if we ever all make it to Seattle. We've also all enjoyed the photo book. Thanks so much!
ReplyDeleteLove that place. So glad you took pictures of her. Wouldn't it be great to see Alathea, Sophia, and Nina there together. Love, Grandma
