Strawberry picking makes every summer bucket list....And some times it is July before I remember and then all the strawberries are gone! But not this year; Score one for being Johnny on the Spot with the strawberry season. We gathered our child labor cousins and promptly laid waste to two rows of very ripe berries. Our take home was 40.5 LBS but we easily ate half as much during our harvesting.
A very sweet memory of summer past was berry picking with the Payne family 4 years ago (and one of my favorite photos of myself with my new brood of three)
I am thankful that we only live 45 min from amazing farms and country side. And thankful that we have a reliable van to get us to and fro on our outings. And thankful that we will be enjoying strawberry EVERYTHING for the next few weeks. It's going to be a great summer.....
