A full day of agriculture goodness at the Washington State Fair gave us all a little perspective on how much of our state is dedicated to things that have nothing to do with computers, airplanes or the Internet. It was refreshing and fun and something we will look forward to next year.

All the kids got a turn milking what must be a very approximate representation of an actual milk cow.
The Mutton Busting was a total highlight and thankfully we only have one child who is small enough to qualify to compete in this madness. Everyone but mom thought we needed a Hurt Family Mutton Busting Team......
This was the single solitary ride we did and was chosen for several Un-Fun reasons; Shortest line, Most accommodating height restrictions and fewest required tickets. But having never been on a ride like this, it was still a total thrill and memory maker.
