The kids enjoyed a field trip to The Seattle Art Museum last week and are now officially big kids since they walked to and from school to the museum. In the rain. Up hill (only one way). 2 1/2 hours of Andy Warhol, African tribal masks and ancient Chinese pottery ended a full week of school and I loved hearing their impressions. The "exploding cars" (pictured below) made a big impression on Elijah and Clementine seemed to really appreciate the pottery from England.
