She got her hair did

Clementine is taking swim lessons at the moment which means she is submerged into chlorinated water twice a week. This is death to the textured hair. I have been winging her hair white mama style (ie semi-crazy) but it is time to take it to the next level and have some braids done. This will enable me to get the swim cap on and off her head with out too much damage. And it looks super cute.
For those of you who are interested, I highly recommend the documentary Good Hair. It was an glimpse into the world of African American hair and all that surrounds it.
