Help Me Help You

I am a big fan of teaching the kids how to do things for themselves. This often makes MORE work for me during the early stages of the learning curve, but I figure it is better than doing their laundry until they are 17. I am waiting for the Saturday morning, when I hear the sound of cereal and milk being poured in the basic direction of a bowl without adult assistance. Success.

Clementine decided that she was old enough to make her own lunch this week. I totally agree.

Does anyone know HOW the goldfish get blue?! Do I really want to know?!
