Expanding our Borders

The kid's and I try to do devotions and prayers during breakfast and, being children, most of the prayers center around the immediate comforts of life. I am guilty of falling into the same prayer rut, so I decided to make our time a little more global. We made prayer cards to draw from, each with pictures of people we love but don't see very often and a photo copy of a map showing us where they live. Some of the cards are people we call family, some are friends and some are pen pals only, but I am excited to see how this exercise brings our mind to the four corners of God's world.

So far, we have Armenia, Malawi, Texas, England, Virginia, Haiti, Sierra Leone and China!
