End of the Week

We made it! It's the end of our first week of camp/ second week of summer break. Here are a few high lights......

Meal Swap! I get dinner, delivered to my door, twice a week. I return the favor to my two neighbors on Monday, making for a much simplified cooking/shopping schedule during the summer. AND I get to eat other people's food which I find fun. Especially when they make salmon tacos with cilantro sauce!

My tennis star. She is finishing her first week of tennis camp with three more to go before the summer ends. I am expecting Serena Williams to be moving in before long. Miss C looked much cuter with a smile but she didn't like her hair this morning. What a girl :)

Showers before bed produce crazy hair.

Nature camp this week for boy-o. He made a friend; a sure sign of good times at camp. When I asked about why said friend was so special, Elijah responded "We caught a caterpillar together. And we both LOVE sticks.....". Good basis for a friendship, I say. 

First week of summer camp. First week away from mom all morning. Lots of first. First T-ball injury. Although she calls it "T-bone whacker ball" which is much more descriptive and now the new official name of T-Ball worldwide. 

Sadness. I don't remember exactly what I wasn't giving her that she wanted. But  she was sad about it.

Papa teaching all his youngn's the joys of skateboarding. Jury is still out on this one......
