Winter break

I just saw that this post never "published" and has sat here for a couple of weeks waiting for you all to see! We had a week off of school in February which meant more time with friends and family, mornings at the park and even an visit to The Northwest African American History Museum.

It's still cold but we made use of the breaks in the rain to get outside and enjoy the parks before our hands became numb.

Nina made the rounds and got to have a lunch/coffee date with Uncle Erick and Auntie Apryl

He is so Brave!

The highlight of the  Northwest African American History Museum, was the gallery of work by local artist, Marita Dingas. She is a fine artist that puts the detritus of life to use by making amazing sculptures and quilts. Really inspiring.
