Seattle is hitting the mid 80's this week which means a couple of things:
1. The water will finally be out of hypothermia range.
2. Our apartment (which is currently undergoing a complete external remodel) will be dark and hot
But thankfully we have our amazing van *sigh* that we get to load up with supplies and head to cooler and brighter horizons. This week we will be exploring the many choices of Wet Play offered up by nature and the Seattle Parks Department starting off with Mount Baker Beach today. A quiet lake side landing spot just large enough to not get boring but small enough that I can see everyone from my little grassy knoll. PLUS....we got to participate in free swimming lessons lead by the strapping life guards provided by our fair city. What's not to love about that!

I see the ubiquitous and very useful ice cream buckets. Grandma
